Billy produces some fantastic artwork ... I know, I'm biased because he did the cover for my novel: Three String Blues, but if you check out his work at Billyart I'm sure you'll agree he does amazing pictures. If you buy a Triumph or Ducati print you'll automatically be entered into a competition to win the original artwork ... worth a go?

I'm really taken with a project I came across recently: The Baka Music House Project. Rather than set up a charity simply to ask for donations and encourage the Baka to become dependent upon aid, the project has enabled the Baka to become recognised as musicians in their own right, earn royalties (rather than some musicians sampling the music and incorporating it into their own compositions), provide a medical centre that practices both Western and forest medicine, and other basic necessities that combine to protect the indigenous culture. 20/04/09 - Trying desperately to finish my latest novel: Technical Behaviour but the phones rings and I'm asked to write some bits and pieces for Muller and an email requests the use of my mind on a range of eLearning topics! I've thought of emigrating to the garden shed with my laptop but it's too far from the coffee pot ;o)
Gig this week in Market Harborough with Off the Cuff. It should be a good night, particularly as we've been asked to perform any Hendrix song of our choosing ... Voodoo Child regurgitated?

11/06/08 - Acoustic Performance and Author Signing: PeteTownsend's 'Three String Blues' 7:45pm, Fri 27th June2008 at Borders in Leicester.
I will be back performing two live acoustic sets in store (with friends: 'Off the Cuff') and will be signing copies of my novel "Three String Blues".

19/02/08 - Book launch at St Paul’s Gallery, an evening of words, music and pictures. Pete Townsend will be launching his latest book: Three String Blues, at St Paul’s Gallery, Birmingham on 22 February 2008 at 8pm. The launch will include a short public reading from the novel along with performances from several local musicians. Signed copies of the book will be available on the night.
